About the Game
Palladium: Adventure in Greece is a first-person adventure and puzzle game developed and published by NLB project. It was officially released on June 4, 2021, for Windows, macOS and Linux. Built with the Godot Engine, the game focuses on exploration, puzzle solving and story-driven adventure.
Players take the role of Andreas, an ambitious archaeologist searching for the Palladium, an ancient artifact believed to bring success and prosperity to its owner. His search takes him to Greece, where he must explore an ancient labyrinth filled with traps, mysteries and hidden secrets.
The labyrinth was created by an ancient civilization and serves as the main setting for the adventure. Players must examine their surroundings, search for clues and solve puzzles based on ancient Greek myths and mythology.
The protagonist can be accompanied by one of two companions. One specializes in Greek mythology and can assist with solving riddles, while the other has a more technical mindset and approaches traps in unconventional ways. The choice of companion affects how the adventure unfolds.
The game also features multiple possible endings. Player choices determine what ultimately becomes most important to Andreas: fame, wealth or love. There are two different playthroughs depending on the companion chosen.
Greek mythology is central to the gameplay rather than simply being part of the setting. The riddles draw upon mythological elements, while the labyrinth, ancient artifacts and various challenges create an adventure closely connected to the imagery and mythology of ancient Greece.
