Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece is a real-time strategy game developed and published by Longbow Games. It is an expanded edition of Hegemony: Philip of Macedon, adding new campaigns, additional content, and gameplay improvements while focusing entirely on the history of Ancient Greece rather than its mythology.

The game places players in one of the most significant periods of Greek history, when rival city-states competed for supremacy across the Hellenic world. The primary campaign follows the rise of Philip II of Macedon, whose military reforms and political ambitions transformed Macedon into the dominant power of Greece. The Gold edition also introduces two major campaigns set during the Peloponnesian War, allowing players to command either Athens or Sparta, each offering distinct military, political, and economic challenges based on historical circumstances.

Unlike many strategy games, Hegemony Gold merges grand strategy and tactical warfare into a single seamless experience. Rather than switching between campaign and battle maps, every action takes place on one continuous map of Ancient Greece.
