EA SPORTS WRC is a rally racing game developed by Codemasters and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on November 3, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S and is the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship.

The game brings modern World Rally Championship racing into a digital environment, allowing players to compete across different countries, surfaces, and weather conditions. It features the WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC categories, together with a large selection of modern and historic rally cars.

The game's connection to Greece comes primarily through the EKO Acropolis Rally Greece, one of the most distinctive and demanding events in the World Rally Championship. Greece is included among the game's rally locations and is presented as an event where high temperatures, twisting mountain roads, and extremely abrasive gravel surfaces put both driver and car under considerable pressure.

Gameplay focuses on driving special stages, with players attempting to complete each route in the fastest possible time. Precision through corners, choosing the correct racing line, controlling speed, and managing the car are essential, as the stages constantly change and a single mistake can result in a crash or mechanical damage.

The game also features Builder Mode, allowing players to create their own modern rally car. Players can select the chassis, body shell, mechanical components, and then customize the vehicle's interior, exterior, and livery.

Alongside the main championship experience, the game offers several modes and multiplayer features. It supports up to 32-player cross-platform multiplayer, while EA Racenet's Clubs allow players to create custom competitions and rally championships.

The Acropolis Rally Greece is particularly relevant to the game's connection with Greece. Its stages feature dry gravel, rocks, significant elevation changes, and demanding corners. The official game description presents the Greek rally as a true battle of attrition because of its high temperatures and abrasive gravel surfaces.

The Greek content was expanded further through the Hard Chargers Content Pack in 2025, which added new Acropolis Rally Greece stages. These include Harvati, Pisia, Drosopigi–Aghia Triada, Perachora, Irini–Schinos, and Posidonia, providing additional routes and variations of the Greek rally.
