About the Game

Achilles: Survivor is a survival roguelite action game developed by Polish studio Dark Point Games. It is a spin-off of Achilles: Legends Untold and reimagines its mythological setting through a fast-paced bullet-heaven format. The game entered Early Access on January 29, 2025, followed by its full 1.0 release on July 29, 2025.
The player primarily takes control of Achilles, while additional heroes can be unlocked throughout the game. Each character has a distinctive playstyle and abilities, allowing different approaches to combat and progression. Characters such as Paris and Pythia expand the roster beyond the titular Greek hero.

Gameplay revolves around surviving increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. Players collect experience, improve their abilities, develop their builds and construct defensive structures while fighting large numbers of enemies simultaneously. Each run contributes to longer-term progression, allowing players to unlock new characters, treasures and permanent improvements.

The connection with Ancient Greece is fundamental to the game. Its environments are based on locations and imagery from Greek legend, including Troy and the Greek coastline, while its heroes, enemies and supernatural elements draw heavily from Greek mythology.

Unlike a historical strategy game, Achilles: Survivor uses Ancient Greece primarily as a mythological fantasy setting. Its purpose is not historical reconstruction but the creation of an action-focused world populated by legendary heroes, monsters and supernatural threats.
