About the Game

Dungeon Rampage Remastered is the modernized version of the original multiplayer game released on Facebook in 2012 by Rebel Entertainment. The original became a popular Facebook dungeon crawler before being shut down in 2017. Its revival was organized by Gamebreaking Studios, following the initiative of Greek gamer and developer Angelos Mako, who secured the game's rights and helped bring together the team responsible for restoring it.

The Steam revival entered Early Access on December 5, 2025, under the title Dungeon Rampage. On October 22, 2026, the developers announced that the full release would be renamed Dungeon Rampage Remastered, with its launch scheduled for November 3, 2026. The game takes place in a colorful fantasy world where heroes fight against the forces of the evil Lord Dinglepus. Players choose a character and enter monster-filled dungeons containing traps, treasures, powerful enemies and boss encounters. 

The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to three additional players. Gameplay focuses on real-time hack-and-slash combat presented from a top-down perspective with 2.5D visuals. Players explore dungeon corridors, fight enemies using different weapons and abilities, collect loot and overcome environmental hazards. Each dungeon features different enemy encounters, traps and boss battles. Character selection plays an important role in the experience. 

Each hero has distinctive weapons, attacks and special abilities. Available character classes include the Berserker, Archer, Wizard, Chef, Vampire Hunter and Necromancer, with different combat styles ranging from direct melee attacks to ranged abilities and traps. Character progression revolves around collecting equipment and upgrading abilities. The game features hundreds of weapons with different characteristics, allowing players to customize their loadouts and combat strategies. Players can also unlock Pets, which accompany their heroes and actively participate in combat. Available creatures include wolves, rhinos and dragons. Dungeons use procedural generation, creating varied encounters, paths and loot opportunities. 

The game is structured around multiple Leagues, each containing numerous levels and boss encounters. Exploration, cooperative combat and equipment collection form the central gameplay loop. The Remastered edition preserves the original gameplay while introducing substantial technical and visual improvements. The planned full release includes HD models for heroes, pets, enemies, objects and environments, improved GPU-based rendering, achievements and native controller support. It also introduces two additional heroes: the Pyromancer and Dragonknight.
